Free tools, built by someone who actually plays 🎾

I'm Nikki — I play padel, and I've got years in tech behind me, which is exactly why this exists: I wanted an informal, genuinely fun way for social groups to organise a match, not something stiff or over-engineered, so I built one myself. Free for everyone, whatever your level. Jump into a game → or read more about why.

AMERICANO PADEL · FAQ

Americano padel FAQ

How Americano rules, scoring and rotations actually work.

Is the Americano padel organiser free?

Yes — every feature here is free, with no account, no sign-up, and no limit on how many times you use it. Add your players and this free Americano padel tournament organiser builds the draw, tracks scores, and works out the final standings for you, entirely in your browser, with nothing to install.

Can I see the results after the tournament?

Yes — the final screen shows the full podium plus everyone's stats, with a share-ready recap for the group chat. Tap any player for their own insights from the game — best partner, toughest pair to face, biggest loss and more. If the same group plays regularly, save each session's winners to a group leaderboard too — it keeps a rolling record of your last 10 games, including each player's personal best, plus a podium and optional player insights (form over time, best partners, consistency). If some players have to sit out, you can opt in when you set up the game to credit each round they miss at that player's own average (or half the points available) so totals stay fair. The standings are ranked on total points; if players are level, the one who won more games ranks higher, then the better point difference.

What happens when some players have to sit out?

Players sitting out rotate, so nobody sits out twice before everyone has sat out once and the number of games stays as even as it can. To keep the leaderboard fair for the odd game someone misses, you can opt in when you set up the game: each missed round can count as that player's own average points per game (so a strong player who sat out isn't penalised) or as half the points available. Left off, totals are simply the points scored. You can also rank by average points per game or by games won instead of total points.

What is the difference between Americano and Mexicano padel?

Americano keeps partners and opponents random every round, so everyone plays with and against everyone else by the end. Mexicano instead seeds pairings from the leaderboard as it goes, so stronger and weaker players end up more evenly matched — it's the more competitive of the two. See how Americano differs from Mexicano →

How are Americano padel partners rotated?

Every round, this Americano padel tournament organiser splits the active players into fresh groups of four and randomises partners and opponents within them, so across a full session everyone plays with and against as many different people as possible rather than repeating the same pairing. Check the live screen right before each round starts to see exactly which court you're on, who your partner is, and who you're up against.

How does Americano padel scoring work?

Instead of tracking games and sets like a normal padel or tennis match, Americano scoring runs straight to a points target — say, first to 16 — with serves rotating one point at a time between all four players on court, so a 16-point round means 4 serves each, a 24-point round means 6 each, and so on. Enter the final score once a round ends — say, 10 for one side and 6 for the other — and both sides' points are added straight to their running total, before everyone rotates to a new court, partner and opponents for the next round.

At the end of the whole session, everyone's points across every round are added up, and the highest total wins. If two players finish level, the tie's broken by average points per game rather than left as a flat tie. Learn how Americano padel scoring works →

How many players do you need for an Americano padel tournament?

Padel itself is always doubles, so you need at least four to start, and this Americano padel tournament organiser supports up to 20 players in one session, across as many as 4 courts. There's no need for an exact multiple of four either.

Can you play Americano padel with an odd number of players?

Yes — whether you've turned up with 5, 10 or 14 players, this tool rotates who sits out each round on a fair, roughly even basis, so an odd number is never actually a problem; it just means a little more rotation, which is exactly what it's built to handle for you.

How long does an Americano padel tournament take?

It depends entirely on your own time budget — how many courts you've got booked, and for how long — rather than any fixed length. Set that in the tool and it works out how many rounds and games per player will actually fit, live, as you set up.

Can players see live Americano scores?

Yes — get a shareable live code and anyone in your group can follow scores, rounds and standings on their own phone as they happen, without crowding round one screen. You can also let specific people enter scores on your behalf if you're not the one holding the phone on court.

Can I run an Americano with multiple courts?

Yes — up to 4 courts at once, each with its own booking length if they're not all free for the same amount of time. Every round splits players evenly across whichever courts are still open, so a longer-booked court just keeps going after a shorter one closes.

Do players need an app?

No — this Americano padel tournament organiser runs entirely in a web browser, for the organiser and anyone following along. There's nothing to download and no account to create on any device.

Can I add players after starting?

Yes — a late arrival can be added mid-game from the Manage/More tab. They join the sit-out rotation from the next round onward; rounds already played simply predate them, so nothing about the games already finished changes.
