USING THE SITE

What PadelSideQuest is

PadelSideQuest is a free, independent website with beginner-friendly padel (and tennis) guides, plus a free browser-based tool for organising Americano and Mexicano matches. By using the site or the tool, you're agreeing to these terms. If you don't agree with them, the simplest thing is not to use the site.

GUIDES & CONTENT

Information, not professional advice

The rules, scoring, levelling, and "getting started" guides on this site are written to help beginners get oriented — they're a starting point, not an official rulebook or coaching qualification. Rules, levels, and etiquette can vary a little between clubs, coaches, and regions, so always check with your own club or coach for anything that really matters (like official competition rules).

We do our best to keep content accurate and up to date, but we can't guarantee it's complete, current, or error-free, and we're not liable for decisions made based on it.

THE MATCH ORGANISER TOOL

Provided "as is", free of charge

  • The Americano/Mexicano organiser is provided free, with no account needed, "as is" and "as available" — we don't guarantee it will be error-free, uninterrupted, or perfectly accurate (for example, round/time estimates are a ballpark based on assumptions, not a promise).
  • By default, all the data you enter (players, scores, tournament name) is stored locally in your browser only — unless you choose to get a live shareable code or save results to a group leaderboard, in which case that data is also temporarily stored on our server so it can be shared with others who have the code; see the Privacy Policy for the full detail on both. Either way, it's your responsibility to keep track of results you care about — we can't recover data lost if your browser storage is cleared, and shared/leaderboard data is deleted automatically after the periods described there.
  • To the extent allowed by law, PadelSideQuest isn't liable for any loss or issue arising from use of the tool, including disputes over scores, standings, or how a match was organised.
FAIR USE

Please play nicely

Don't misuse the site — that includes trying to break it, scrape it abusively, interfere with how it works, or use it for anything unlawful. Reasonable personal, non-commercial use of the guides and tool (including at your own club or with your own group) is exactly what it's here for.

Content & branding

The text, guides, design, and PadelSideQuest name/branding on this site belong to PadelSideQuest unless stated otherwise. You're welcome to link to the site or share pages; please don't republish substantial chunks of the content elsewhere without asking first — get in touch if you'd like to.

Third-party sites

Links to clubs, Playtomic, social platforms, and other outside sites are provided for convenience. We don't control them and aren't responsible for their content, accuracy, or availability.

CHANGES

These terms may be updated

As the site grows, these terms might change from time to time — the date at the top will always show the latest update. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
